Woodcock Smokery on the Michelin Guide’s Wild Atlantic Way Road Trip

We’re delighted to be featured in The Wild Atlantic Way: A Michelin Guide Road Trip (Part 1) - a journey through Ireland’s southwest coast that celebrates the people, places, and food that make this region so special.

The Michelin team travelled through West Cork and beyond, meeting incredible producers, chefs, and makers who capture the true spirit of the Wild Atlantic Way - from Sally Barnes of Woodcock Smokery in Castletownshend to Ahmet Dede at Dede in Baltimore, O’Connor’s Seafood Restaurant in Bantry, Manning’s Emporium, and The Beara Coast Hotel in Castletownbere.

It’s a beautiful celebration of community, craft, and connection to nature, and a reminder of why this coastline continues to inspire those who visit and those who call it home.
