An Evening Series Celebrating Producers, Craft and Story

Time: 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm

Limited tickets available

Join Sally Barnes for a new summer evening series at The Keep.

Good food starts long before it reaches the plate. These gatherings are a little different — slower, more conversational, and centred around the people behind the food and drink we value most.

Across the summer, we’ll welcome a carefully chosen line-up of Irish producers, makers, and storytellers — from cheesemakers and beekeepers to brewers, wine merchants, and craftspeople — each bringing their own perspective, products, and passion to the table.

Set within The Keep — Sally’s fish school and creative space in West Cork — these evenings are about connection, learning, and sharing. A chance to meet the people shaping Ireland’s food culture, hear their stories, and taste their work in an informal, welcoming setting.

Each evening will take on its own character — from cheese and honey tastings to beer and wine-led nights with carefully matched seasonal food — always guided by the producer at the centre of it.

What’s Included

  • A welcome drink on arrival

  • A guided tasting or conversation with the featured producer

  • A seasonal grazing supper — a shared spread of cheeses, breads, preserves, smoked fish, and thoughtful pairings, which will evolve depending on the evening’s guests and produce

  • Homemade cordials

  • An intimate setting with time to ask questions, connect, and enjoy

Guests are welcome to BYOB. A small drinks selection may also be available depending on the evening.

Dates and Producers

A full programme of summer evenings will be released shortly, featuring a rotating line-up of producers and guests.

Expect evenings dedicated to cheese, honey, craft beer, wine, storytelling, and more.

Sign up for our mailing list or follow along on Instagram to be the first to hear.

Come for the stories. Stay for the people. Leave with a deeper connection.
