Ordering from Woodcock Smokery

Our products are available in many retail outlets and restaurants throughout West Cork as well as both nationally and in the UK.

We do operate a mail order service and you will find an online order form here.

Please remember, though, that ours is a smokery dealing only in fresh fish when it is available, we are not like a factory turning out identical products all the time.

For that reason we like to ensure that we can fill your order before you part with your money.

So, if you submit an online order we will check the availability of what you would like to order and calculate the cost of packing it and mailing it for you. We will then provide you with an email invoice through PayPal which you can pay online over secure lines.

This adds very little time to the process of ordering, but it may save you from disappointment.

Please check our current prices here and then fill in the number of packs of each kind of product you require on the order form. Once you have submitted the form we will:

• Check the availability of each product ordered 

• Calculate the cost of packaging and posting for you

• Provide you with an online invoice for payment

As soon as we receive payment we will process and post your order.










Winter Orders 2011

If you need your order for Woodcock Smokery Wild Smoked Salmon delivered before Christmas, please note the following deadlines:

  • Large orders – By mid November, please

  • Final orders for delivery in the UK: 15 December

  • Final orders for delivery in Ireland: 19 December


If your order can be with us by 1 December that would help us greatly in preparing stocks in time, thank you.

Prices for Wild Smoked Salmon remain the same; however, shipping costs may vary according to fuel prices at the time.


Woodcock Smokery on Telly

   

Woodcock Smokery will be featuring in a new series presented by Rachel Allen this year.

The programme with footage from the Smokery will be screened on Sky's 'Good Food Channel'- Sky Channel 249, and Virgin Channel 260 - at 7.00 PM on Sunday 4 December, and on RTE on Thursday 22 December at 8.30 PM. For those of you who have never seen us, this is your chance!

If this inspires any of you to leap to your computers or telephones and order smoked salmon from us for Christmas, please remember that, assuming we have stock left very late in December, anything ordered from 22 December onwards will not be able to be delivered before Christmas. Sorry, but it’s just not possible.



Shipping

All our products are vacuum-packed and sent in insulated envelopes to ensure maximum longevity and preservation. After experimenting with different shipping and delivery companies we have found that the most reliable and prompt service for packages under 2 kilos is An Post, the Irish postal service. For packages over the 2 kilo mark we use a courier service.

We always send products out on a Monday, in order to give them the best possible chance to arrive at their destinations without having to remain in storage over the weekend.

For destinations in Ireland, products will typically arrive overnight or at most within 2 days.

Addresses in the UK and Europe will typically take 3-5 days.

Elsewhere in the world delivery times can vary more widely depending on the destination.

Although we do have a number of overseas customers, we are, under current regulations, unable to ship any of our products to Australia or New Zealand.
